Thank You Teacher...

I went back to TP again tiday for a pre trip briefing with the group going to Beijing. And yet again, it warms my heart to be back on the familiar gounds and to be with Kubo Sensei. And once again, I am touched. By the endless love and care a teacher could ever give.

I still remember the times Sue, Liz and myself would go for Japanese class together, and during break times, we will sometimes gossip and sometimes squabble over little things and batters over stupid topics. And Kubo Sensei would always watch in amusement. And he would smile at our squabbles. Today, after collecting the balance amount for the trip, I was again having a friendly batter with one of my colleague. Again, I found Kubo Sensei, looking at us, just like a father would over his daughters during playtime.

And we went for a drink after the session with all the lecturers. Kubo Sensei then asked me about the exams and I told him that I would most prob take JLPT 2 only next year as I'm not really confident for it this year. He was very encouraging and even ask me to bring my books along when I go for the trip. He volunteered to tutor me during the coach rides and said I need to converse with him during mealtimes and during the trip. I was seriously touched by this. It's been almost 10 years since I graduated and left his care and here he is, concern with my progress in the language. I could feel strongly his passion and his care for his students, now and past.

Although it's not Teacher's Day yet but I still wanna express my gratitude to this teacher of mine.

久保先生,本とに いろいろ ありがとう ございました!私は 日本語を頑張ります!
