A Change in Environment Needed.

Got another offer today. This will be the 2nd one pending. I will need to decide soon. But the 2nd offer will only come into view on March next year but I need to decide if I really wanna do it as risk will be involved. And we are talking about major ones.

Another is to stick with a similar job scope but just a change in environment. And the third one which requires a lot a lot of initiative and courage from myself is still on hold. But that will be what I really dream on doing but have the least confidence of achieving it. Sooooo......

They just changed the screens in office to 17" ones... Damn obiang.. And bright... Feel so out of place with it. My goodness.

A Short Holiday...

Well, sort of...

Was sent on a 2 nights cruise by my company. Purpose was to familiarise ourselves with the cruise and thus enable us to sell better.

I've always felt that cruises are boring. Or rather, Singapore cruises are. And I still think so.. Nothing to do. Boring. But one good thing that came out of it, or rather 2 things.. it refreshed my memory about how the cruise is like and I won $100 from the jackpot machines. Haa... So the expenses I incurred is all really paid for by Starcruise. Went for leg massage in KL and bought some snacks back for the office people. And after all that, I still have some of the winnings left. Ha Ha.. Woohoo!!!!

Anyway, next thing to do now is to really complete my special resume for a special job application. Hope it all goes smoothly...

A Nice Morning to Start off..

Just got an msn message from one of my ex-colleagues... It really warmed my heart. Wow...

Cos I'll be going on a cruise (sent by company) and cos it's the seventh month where ghosts are believed to be out for the full month. And cos her bf is also going on the same cruise.

So she got an amulet not just for her bf but for me as well... So so touched. Can't wait to board the cruise..

Some Things to Keep Myself Sane...

Recovering... Slowly but surely. At least as compare to this morning, I'm steadier now.

Hope I'll be hopping around well on Wednesday. Oh, We got to stay in the Oceanview with Balcony rooms for the cruise. Yipee!!

Never Been So Sick...

Woke up at 7am yesterday morning to find myself with a fever of 39.1 degrees. Ran to the toilet to throw up the minute I sit up. Fever went up to 39.6 degrees at 9am. But think I really have to hand it to myself. Cos I can actually brave the heavy rain and walked 15min to my family doctor's clinic. But after that, can't keep my eyes open without feeling like throwing up.. So so giddy.

Felt so cold that I was shivering non-stop the whole night thru. Seriously thought I wasn't gonna make it.. Thought I'll freeze to death. Scary...

Doc says the virus had went down to my stomach. Gastric flu... Body aching like they're shattering.. But luckily his medicines are all very effect. Feeling better.. That's why I'm back in office. But still feel like I'm threading on clouds.. Floating.. And still have no control over my limps.. And they're still cold..

Had really taken a lot of MCs recently.. and coincidentally, during days which my other senior colleague is on leave. The same yesterday. Think I'm gonna be kicked out of this place soon if my 'atas' people think I'm skiving... But I'm really down on luck. Never been missing so much work/school in half a year!

Hope I'm still going for the cruise on Wednesday. Worried that they might take my name out cos they think I don't deserve it. But even if they do it, I have no choice. At least my conscience is clear and all my cases are genuine and serious ones. I tahaned on Thursday as I had a briefing to attend but didn't expect it to turn that bad despite all the medication and health supplements I took on Thursday in attempt to suppress the virus.

Lost 2kg just like that.. Thought it's due to dehydration though...

At least it isn't dengue....

I caught the flu virus.. First my mum, then my boss, then my brother, now me... Bummer.. Started with a cough yesterday.. Now feeling cold and feverish at the same time. ARGHH....



First my ankle, then my back. Now, Sick. Good. What a good 2nd half a year I have. Kill me... It'll be faster.



And to make things better, I am going on a rare cruise fam trip next Wednesday. And I can't take MC for tomorrow cos the B**** of today's topic is on leave.



Ok, finished with the bad luck. Now comes the B****(es).



Upon knowing that I was sick, a big hoo-haa happened. D B**** screamed for the whole counter people to take vitamins, ask one of the temp staff to spray the air purifyer all over... A lot. And she almost attack my phone as well. Then my AM asked me why issit so noisy outside so I told her what was going on (like I can hide the commotion if I wanted to), and she came in to join in the noise. I know she meant well (cos she told the D B**** off for being rude), but that makes things worse. Sigh...

My intern sitting next to me is killing me.. I'm dehydrating.. And drained from talking to him...

A Surprising Good Movie....

Quite a nice weekend... But not enough sleep. As promised, I met up with one of my little Gal (ex colleague) at Orchard. Woke up 2 hrs early but ended up 15 min late. No choice, called for cab as no cab wants to show up (as usual). Called once while I was still waiting along the main road but cancelled the booking when heard the car plate number of the yellow coloured which just drove past me. ??!!!!! You go pass me instead of picking me up and took a call?! No way I was gonna give you the extra call charge! Waited for a few minutes before calling for another cab. I was late already anyway.

BTW, went to catch the show 'Secret' directed and lead by Jay Chou. WOW!!! I really love it!!!! Love the way he incorporated music and piano into the movie. WOW!!! Will be watching it again on Friday.... Hee...

Was on leave so accompanied mummy to SGH eye centre for her regular check up...

Came home to find my bro with a high fever. Keep waking up in the middle of the night to check on him... Now... Yawnzzz......

A Great Movie...

One more day and my other senior is back!!! Although I'll miss the quiet days (as in I dun have to fight things out with her stupid ego) but at least I'll be less stressful.

Left the office only at 8.30pm last night. Sigh... Forgot about a dinner gathering with my cuzzie.. Arghh...

My back is better... At least I was able to sit through a movie today. Went to catch the local production by Royston Tan - '881' with my brother. Catch the 2.05pm show. It's really really good! I'm really proud to see that he can really make a very good movie. Needless to say, I 'teared' (to be put very mildly) again.. Non-stop. Ke ke..

Off to de-stress with some online gaming... Hope that tomorrow will be a peaceful day...

Spent 2 days at home.. Resting my poor back..

On back brace now.. So uncomfy...

And... I haven't study for my Jap test yet. And it's tomorrow... Think I am gonna flunk it again...

My Poor Poor Back...

On Mc for today and tomorrow. I sprain my back. Went to the company doc. She gave me 2 types of muscle relaxer, a day one and a night one. But the day one doesn't work. Couldn't get out of bed this morning. When I can finally get out of bed (which took me a good 15 minutes), I went down to Tampines Polyclinic to get an x-ray done.. Result: a slight narrowing in the L5/S1 sector of my spine. Doc say it could be I'm born with it, or a slip disc. Given appointment to see the bone people at CGH in Sept. Hope that nothing's serious. But at least the medication given to be is of much more use as compared to that given by my company Doc... BUT ARGGHHHH... I have a Jap paper on Sunday!!!!

Half a day was wasted at the polyclinic.. Couldn't keep awake after taking the medication... Now it is also taking effect.......

Stress...

Wah... Crazy days.. Gonna be so for the next 2 weeks as my other senior colleague is on 2 weeks leave. I'm currently the only senior left on the front line with 2 other new staff.. ARGHHH...

And to make things worse, I think I just sprained my back.. arghh..
