Touching Moment...

On my way to the MRT station this morning, I chance upon this elderly couple on the feeder. I think they must be at least 60 years old if not 70.

Both are sitting silently beside each other. No words of exchange, not even looking at each other. However, they were holding hands throughout the whole journey. Not just holding hands but 十指交扣... Occassionally, the old lady will playfully hit the palm of the old man. Then they will resume holding hands the same way.

It is really heart-warming to see old couples still so much in love with each other. With divorce rates so high, with couples filing for separation even before they can celebrate their 5th wedding anniversary, this is really a very encouraging sight. It showed me that even in this materialistic and sometimes, unfeeling world, true love still do exist. And couples will really grow old together and stay by each other.

Somehow, it helped built up my confidence in relationship. But only by a millimeter...

Sigh..

Another girl leaving the company. But I guess for her, it's expected as bossie really don't like her cos she really have extremely low EQ. So...

Aiyoh.. Kenna complain by an unreasonable pax. Early in the morning somemore. ARGGHH!!!....

Then they wanna change to incentive scheme. Not that I care. As long as they don't touch my basic pay... If not, what diff are they from my previous *chee na* company?!

Just to let off some steam..

Another little gal of my clique in office is leaving.. Sadness.. Sigh.. How?

Leaving as in resigning.. though from accounts department but we had so much fun everyday together.. The daily fights and arguments.. Now she tell me she's tendering.. Arghhh...

I really cannot stand my F***ing colleague. So what if you had been promoted to a sup? Ya ya loh.. I seriously think people here have poor upbringing and doesn't know what is respect. It's really sickening working in places like this.

Mummy called me at 5.30pm just now.. SHE'S BACK!!!! Wah!!! I missed her so so much!!!!

I am gonna take the cab back and cling on to her like a koala for the rest of the night!!!!

Yeah! Mummy coming home tomorrow afternoon!

Wah! Almost had a heart attack last night. Earthquake in Japan!!! And the stupid news highlight only mentioned Japan but not where.. Made me rush into the room to set up my laptop for search on the news. Sigh..

Luckily it's not in Hokkaido and my parents will only be coming to Tokyo this afternoon. I hope nothing happens between now and tomorrow evening.

Thank GOD my parents will be home tomorrow!!!!

Caught Harry Porter and the Order of the Pheonix on Sat. Almost fell asleep... But it was really fun watching with the group.

Sigh.. An invitation to dinner and watch Die Hard 4 tonight. Sianz...

Official event so cannot escape. Dinner at 7.30pm and movie only at 9pm.. Double sianz.. Sure cannot go home before midnight one.. Initially thought of conveniently disappearing after a visit to the ladies after the show started but due to the fact that a few of the 'ah gals' in my office will also be attending and absolutely made me promise to stay with them throughout the movie, there goes my plans.. Sigh..... Said will escort me to the toilet and back to make sure that I don't disappear.

Just hope I can get home and sleep earlier....

I Miss My Mummy....

It's only day 1 and I'm missing them already.

Sent my parents on a 7 Days Hokkaido trip. I miss my mummy!!!! But I think she deserve the trip. Provided my dad doesn't piss her off.. :P

Anyway, was almost 20 minutes late for work this morning.. The result of over reliant on my mummy.. Work up late, then realised I have to take over the job of praying and preparing the offerings.. Ha.. Tonight must see if I need to do the laundry (for the first time). Sigh.. Yes, I am a very pampered and spoilt princess.. I need to figure out how to use the washing machine.. I am terrible with housework.. Arghh...

Hope I will be on time for work tomorrow..

Home Sweet Home

Yope! I'm back!

Touched down on late Saturday night. Boy came down to help me with my luggage and was surprised to see mummy still in the living room waiting up for me. I opened up all my baggies and passed them the souvenirs and food I bought for them. Bought a few Doraemon stuff for my bro.

Chatted with my mum for a while and by the time I was ready for bed, it's already 2+am.

Shikin's wedding yesterday morning. Dragged myself out of bed at 9+am. Took a cab down to JURONG EAST for the wedding. Cos I over-slept, spent a bloody $21.50 on a 20min cab ride from Bedok. Sigh..

Had lunch while waiting for Kin to come down. She look so different!! So nice! We left the place at around 1 plus after the procession and I took the express bus 506 back home. Took me 1 full hour even for the express bus.. Sigh....

Not enough sleep!!! Argh....

But really glad I went for the wedding. It was really an eye opener. And I'm really happy to be part of the wedding..

Day 4 In Beautiful Taiwan

Yup.. Just steal some time to post before my group mates turn up and I have to be on the road again.

Ya ya ya, I promised to post last night but was too tired lah...

In Taichung now and will be taking the bullet train back to Taipei later. Cool!!! My first experience taking the public express bus from Taipei to Taichungon my own! And now to try their new in operation bullet train! WAH!! I am really enjoying myself here (despite some tiny weeny prob with my room mate..)

Away in Taiwan 01 Jul - 07 Jul......

Ok. 1 last post before I set off to the airport. Finally, the day had arrived for me to......................... Fly Off To Taiwan!!!!!!!! Yeah!!!!! Oohh.. I miss flying so so much! And I miss Taiwan so so much!!!

Wish me luck in finding a rich and handsome guy over there.. Wahaha... I'll try to post if I can get my hands on any internet access but if not, see you in 7 Days' Time!!!
